On Sunday, October 23rd 2022, I was in church and we were praying when I had an encounter. Below is an excerpt of my note from that service.
At the time, I was working as a Fertility Nurse and I had such a strong connection with the patients assigned to me that I personally prayed for them. While in church this Sunday, praying for them, I began to think about how mothers-in-waiting can sow into something they desire, ie, new mothers and children.
Then God said to my heart, ‘This project has a name’ I wrote that down and continued to pray. Some minutes later (still in that prayer session), my pastor at the time, Pastor Ernest Salami began to talk about God giving someone an assignment and the name would be called Sarah Initiative. I wrote it down.
In 2022/2023, I bought diapers to gift for about 50 new mothers, which was to act on the assignment, to the degree that I understood it at the time. In 2024, God came to me again and began to provide more clarity about the assignment, this was when I added ‘Health’ to the name.
